Tanjung Duren Has Reading Garden for Kids

A reading garden is set up on Jalan Sekretaris, RT 15/07, Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta and has been opened since Sunday.

"This is a community initiative to increase children's reading interest," expressed Andi Nurcahyadi (36), one of the reading garden initiators, Monday (7/1).
Reading Children's Day to See North Jakarta on July 24-25It was founded in the musala hall with the book collection reaching 400 copies. The most extensive books is about fairy tales such as, Malin Kundang, Putri Keong Mas, Sangkuriang, etc.
"By reading and listening to fairy tales, kids will be more interested and trigger reading interest," he hoped.
Some of those books are also a donation from the West Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Sub-agency.
"We open at 9 AM-5 PM. This is open for public. Surely you can donate books freely," he exclaimed.
